About You
You are a highly adept technical SEO specialist who is fluent in WordPress and analytics tools. You can systematically identify technical and on-page issues and can effectively communicate these issues with customers during regular reporting calls. You are a well-organised and a natural problem solver. You’re always looking for ways to improve processes.
The Role
As a technical SEO specialist, you will be responsible for running technical and on-page audits for various clients, both as part of their initial setup and as part of our ongoing service. You will be expected to make necessary changes to clients’ web pages, or (if there is restricted access) effectively communicate your recommendations to customers. You will be tasked with seeking out optimisation opportunities for existing pages alongside our keyword strategy and off-page optimisation teams. You may also be asked to share your technical knowledge with other members of our team to legitimise our customer-facing content.
Key Responsibilities
- Running initial site-wide and page audits
- Making or recommending changes to customers
- Creating reports and leading regular monthly calls with customers to discuss your findings
- Running ongoing audits and looking for page optimisation opportunities
- Identify gaps in internal processes and recommend improvements
- Work alongside other departments to develop strong SEO campaigns
- Stay on top of industry developments and anticipate where changes in search engine optimisation can offer clients opportunities.
- Attending internal calls and presenting customer progress with other departments via Google Meet.
Essential Skills & Experience
- At least three years’ experience as a technical SEO specialist.
- Expert-level understanding of search algorithms
- Advanced knowledge Google Analytics 4, Google Data Studio, and other analytics tools
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Schema, etc.
- Advanced knowledge with WordPress, HubSpot, SquareSpace, and other CMS platforms
Bonus Skills/Experience
- Knowledge of UX and CRO
- Effective English-language skills
- Experience managing projects and tasks within a CRM
